After my last post I was feeling a little overwhelmed by the whole weight loss/tone up journey, me and my husband and the boys went to Lego Land and with eating out and a couple of bad eating choices I gained a little weight which really put me down so I decided to stop weighing myself for a short period and stop with the pictures and measurements.
So far I am finding so hard to not to weigh myself, I keep meaning to move the scales but as yet they are still in the bathroom which is not good news. I think I will weigh in on Saturday as a fresh start then remove the scales and put them in the loft..I will post Sunday and update you with the "moving" news.
However I thought I would keep the blog going with regards to other aspects of my life..which will largely revolve around food, my little family and running :)
I am currently training for Wolverhampton Half Marathon and after a brief pause with our Lego Land trip, I'm back on the training plan. Today I completed a 40 minute run and I managed to do 7k in that time which I'm chuffed with as all my last couple of 40 minute runs have taken me 40 mins and around 30 seconds so I have been dying to beat it.
Food hasn't been the best today but in terms of not enough, have been so busy I only managed breakfast, couple pieces of fruit and then dinner. Missing lunch isn't a good idea for me as I tend them to over eat on a night however today I have remained good. Dinner today was homemade pizza, a recipe of the good food website and it's amazing!!! It's so easy and delicious I will never buy takeaway or frozen pizza again and its a firm healthy favourite with the whole family :)
Tonight I've made some falafel for lunch tomorrow and Cody my 4 year old tried them and he liked them although they were slightly spicy. Tomorrow is shopping day and I cant wait to get some food in as the cupboards are bare and I love making up some recipes over the weekend for the weeks snacks/lunches. I'm going to make some sugar free American blueberry pancakes and some spicy chick peas from a recipe I also found on the Good Food website. That website is my best friend. Will include some links and pics of the outcomes on Sunday.
'til then...

Feeling guilty
Week 3 already!
I have had a really good week on the exercise front and food intake. Ive stuck to my daily calorie allowance and stuck to my half marathon training plan.....then it all went wrong last night. Thought I would treat myself to some wine and chocolate as a bit of a cheat meal. However I went a bit OTT! I'm so embarrassed to admit this but this is what i consumed:-
650ml of Rose Wine
100g bar of Galaxy chocolate with caramelised hazelnuts
25g bag of Skips (don't even like skips!)
2 slices of cheese on toast with Worcestershire sauce and red sauce (this tasted so good!)
Thing is I wasn't even hungry, I was bored and had had a drink. I don't know why I do it? I know drinking makes me eat but come on!! Anyway I've felt really fat and guilty today which is never a good thing as I really don't want bad emotions linked with food.
Anyway today is a new day, although I've not had enough calories which wasn't on purpose Ive just ate a little too well. Whilst writing this I've ate a handful of raspberries and mixed nuts to boost the cals, will log them in a bit on mfp.
Running is going well, although I still think daily that I am never going to be able to run a half marathon, it is just such a long way and I can't get my head around actually doing it. I keep thinking that I'm not even half way through my training plan so I need to give it time. Tomorrow I am running home from work again as I need to fit it in around my husband's work shifts and also we are off to Lego Land (yay) for a little break and then to Devon so not sure how I'm going to fit it all in. I think the Hotel has a gym so I might do a run there on the Wednesday night, although I really hate the treadmill.
So here is this weeks stats then pictures:-
Weight: 8st 2.6 = down 0.8lb
BMI: 20.6 = down 0.1%
Fat: 19.9% = down 0.3%
Water: 52.9 = up 0.2% (I don't know whether this is good or bad, will have to read up on it)
Bust: 34 = STS
Under Bust: 29 = STS
Bicep: 10 = STS
Wrist: 5.5 = STS
Waist: 27 = STS
Belly: 32.5 = STS
Hips: 34 = STS
Thigh: 20.5 = down 0.25
So where I lost that 0.8lbs I don't know but the reduction in Fat makes me think that I have lost fat. I did think that it is probably a bit much to expect big reduction in measurements when I'm doing it weekly.
Here are pics:-
I have huge love handles!
how attractive are my stretchmarks! :(
Looking bloated again?
Humph
Don't look as bloated here?
I have been doing some thinking recently and wonder "when will I be happy?" I suppose I always thought that 8st was a low weight and I would never weigh that, especially as I have struggled with weight loss and body image for such a long time and now I'm here (and have done it the healthy way) and I'm sort of happy but when I look at the pictures I think I still could do with losing another good couple of lbs and need to tone up seriously, but is it possible? I've had two children I shouldn't expect to have a toned stomach should I? Will ponder this more, until next week...

Exhausted!
And even more so now that my laptop decided to turn itself off and I lost my entire post grr!!
Anyway, what a week! It was my youngest son's 1st Birthday on Thursday and we had a little party so with cleaning the house top to bottom, running around sorting out the food and equipment for his birthday cake, then his actual party plus doing lots baking and cooking for fathers day and taking my son to his friend's birthday party plus general mommy and wife duties I'm shattered not to mention the exercise I've done this week...I could sleep for a thousand years I think.
So exercise this week has been good although I do feel like I've been doing this training plan for more than 7 days, I really hope my motivation doesn't dip so therefore I'm thinking about actually entering a half marathon instead of just training for one, that way I have to keep the exercise up.
Here are my stats after one week and I'm pleased:-
Weight: 8st 3.4lb (down 1.4lbs)
Fat: 20.2% (down 0.7%)
Water: 59% (down 0.5% - is that good or bad?)
BMI: 20.7 (down 0.3%)
Really pleased with the above, just goes to show exercise really is the key.
Measurements in inches to follow:
Waist: 27 (down 1)
Belly: 32.5 (down 0.5)
U Bust: 29 (down 2.5 - think I went wrong here either this week or last)
Bust: 34 (same - thank god!)
THigh: 20 3/4 (first time measure)
WRist: 5.5 (same)
Bicep: 10 (up 0.4 wooo power extremes!)
Here are some pics and I think my bloat has decreased thanks to some good advice from my friend to cut down on wheat, which I did and only had 1 portion which was in a wholegrain wrap as I made roast chicken and falafel Fajitas for Finley's birthday party. Here goes:
Lot less bloat here...I think?
I love how my Iphone removes my stretchmarks :D
The more I look at this picture I think i haven't changed at all...hmmm
So all in all, not bad for week two. I just need to keep reminding myself that it can only get better and not to get comfortable as that is when I fall into bad habits. I have two friends currently training for half marathon and that's really quite motivating as it makes me want to do it too.
Training plan this week included 1 30 minute easy run which was good, 1 30 minute interval run which was hard and my first ever attempt at one of these however I was well chuffed that I did my fastest 5k since January with a time of 28minutes 18 seconds. It's amazing what you can do when you push yourself. I downloaded the Endomondo Pro app which I LOVE as the free version didn't allow me to access all the features, best £2.49 i've spent in a long time. Saturday was yoga night which I was very disappointed in. I borrowed a yoga dvd from a friend, Geri Yoga, and oh dear it was boring it took ages to get into it and then I didnt feel pushed. I don't know whether it's because I am getting used to running and pushing myself it felt a bit wrong to be taking it easy. So I got bored after a good 30 minutes so switched it off and finished with some weights and ab work which satisfied me. Today was a easy 40 minute run in which I managed to fit in JUST shy of 7k, I was so annoyed as if I had done a short burst at the end I would have completed 7k. Never mind, will try harder next time.
Right that's me, I'm shattered and back to work tomorrow so have an early start.
Over and out until next week xx

I'm back on it!
After my last post I have measured and taken pictures and exercised, with many thanks to my fabulous friend and fellow blogger, MrsDens.
So friday I weighed in however I didn't believe the results (I wasnt in denial, the results were too good) so I changed batteries and weighed in again on saturday. I also took measurement and here are my stats:-
Weight: 8st 4.8lb
BMI: 21
Water: 58.5%
Fat: 20.9%
Measurements (Inches)
Bust: 34
Under Bust: 31.5
Bicep: 9.6
Wrist: 5.5
Waist: 28
Belly: 33
Hips: 34
Upper leg: 16 (Measured this in wrong place should have done thigh instead)
So all in all, I really want to reduce my belly and hips oh and waist. My belly is my worst area and I have quite large love handles, I'm told this is normally when intaking large amounts of sugar which is most certainly the case with me as i loooooove sugar!
I also took some pictures, which I didnt think were too bad however I did take them first thing in the morning which is always flattering, my least favourite is the side on one, I look pregnant!
Saturday I stuck to my calories and did some circuit training from a plan that MrsDen's sent me..she said it wouldn't kill me however with my unfit body I ACHE like nobodys business today. Then today to make things worse was the start of a running plan which I had to run for 30 minutes none stop. A couple of months ago this would have been no problem however due to my own laziness it nearly finished me off. I did 5k in just over 30 minutes which considering i was it in 26/27 minutes a few months ago is pretty shit.
Anyway I will stop delaying now and show you my pictures.
Here is my front on, excuse the underwear but it was first thing in morning! Didn't think this was "too" bad
Hmm not keen on the old pregnant look here...
Nor here..
Really not keen on this one, think I may wear more clothes next time I take these pictures. Plus I think i need to invest in some fake tan or a holiday :)
That's it for today's post, will be back to report in a couple of days. Thursday is my son's 1st birthday so I plan to do as much as exercise I can so that I can eat a slice of cake without guilt. Oh and I'm making the cake so wish me luck as it's my first one ive ever iced!
Bye for now x

Back again...
Well I first created this blog a couple of months ago then quickly forgot about it however in my defence I have two young boys and just have no time!!
My fitness and eating has been poor, well very poor recently and it's starting to pee me off a tad (a lot).
I just love food too much and dislike exercise too much. I don't mind exercise when I need to lose weight but when I get to my desired weight or relatively happy mode I destroy my work, eat shit and stop exercising oh and drink too much wine!
The last few weeks has been a cluster of celebrations so my body isn't in it's best form. Anyway I'm inspired to try harder!
So I'm going to take some pics and try to remember to update here and I keep logging everyday on my fitness pal and TRUTHFULLY!!
Wish me luck!

Day 1
Well this is my first ever blog and well I'm feeling less super and more simple by the minute! Confused.com!
I suppose I should start by introducing myself, I'm Natasha and I am a busy wife and mother to two beautiful boys plus I work part time as a PA. Although that details who I am on paper it is not just who I am and that is the reason for this Blog.
I love food (too much really) and my body image is something I struggle with, mainly because I can be lazy and again I LOVE food. So I thought I would keep track of things on here and also post pictures of my progress.
I will also keep updating in a diary fashion to update on the trials and tribulations of a Supermom!
Anyway I will stop delaying the worst part and upload my latest pictures which I'm disgusted with as I have been eating far too much (and drinking too much Rose) and doing too little exercise and all my hard work in the latter part of 2011 and early part of 2012 has all gone to pot particuarly all the toning work I had done. Never mind onwards and downwards...
