And even more so now that my laptop decided to turn itself off and I lost my entire post grr!!
Anyway, what a week! It was my youngest son's 1st Birthday on Thursday and we had a little party so with cleaning the house top to bottom, running around sorting out the food and equipment for his birthday cake, then his actual party plus doing lots baking and cooking for fathers day and taking my son to his friend's birthday party plus general mommy and wife duties I'm shattered not to mention the exercise I've done this week...I could sleep for a thousand years I think.
So exercise this week has been good although I do feel like I've been doing this training plan for more than 7 days, I really hope my motivation doesn't dip so therefore I'm thinking about actually entering a half marathon instead of just training for one, that way I have to keep the exercise up.
Here are my stats after one week and I'm pleased:-
Weight: 8st 3.4lb (down 1.4lbs)
Fat: 20.2% (down 0.7%)
Water: 59% (down 0.5% - is that good or bad?)
BMI: 20.7 (down 0.3%)
Really pleased with the above, just goes to show exercise really is the key.
Measurements in inches to follow:
Waist: 27 (down 1)
Belly: 32.5 (down 0.5)
U Bust: 29 (down 2.5 - think I went wrong here either this week or last)
Bust: 34 (same - thank god!)
THigh: 20 3/4 (first time measure)
WRist: 5.5 (same)
Bicep: 10 (up 0.4 wooo power extremes!)
Here are some pics and I think my bloat has decreased thanks to some good advice from my friend to cut down on wheat, which I did and only had 1 portion which was in a wholegrain wrap as I made roast chicken and falafel Fajitas for Finley's birthday party. Here goes:
Lot less bloat here...I think?
I love how my Iphone removes my stretchmarks :D
The more I look at this picture I think i haven't changed at all...hmmm
So all in all, not bad for week two. I just need to keep reminding myself that it can only get better and not to get comfortable as that is when I fall into bad habits. I have two friends currently training for half marathon and that's really quite motivating as it makes me want to do it too.
Training plan this week included 1 30 minute easy run which was good, 1 30 minute interval run which was hard and my first ever attempt at one of these however I was well chuffed that I did my fastest 5k since January with a time of 28minutes 18 seconds. It's amazing what you can do when you push yourself. I downloaded the Endomondo Pro app which I LOVE as the free version didn't allow me to access all the features, best £2.49 i've spent in a long time. Saturday was yoga night which I was very disappointed in. I borrowed a yoga dvd from a friend, Geri Yoga, and oh dear it was boring it took ages to get into it and then I didnt feel pushed. I don't know whether it's because I am getting used to running and pushing myself it felt a bit wrong to be taking it easy. So I got bored after a good 30 minutes so switched it off and finished with some weights and ab work which satisfied me. Today was a easy 40 minute run in which I managed to fit in JUST shy of 7k, I was so annoyed as if I had done a short burst at the end I would have completed 7k. Never mind, will try harder next time.
Right that's me, I'm shattered and back to work tomorrow so have an early start.
Over and out until next week xx
